There she planned campus wide events for alumni association, student affairs, and the office of academics including Senior Week. She has also planned, produced & managed a 3-day national conference (OBTC: Organizational Behavior Teaching Conference) for the OB Teaching Association. For her Senior Thesis she planned & executed a “Moroccan” themed dinner reception with a team of five other students. The team was responsible for elaborate décor, three forms of entertainment, and the cooking of a five course dinner. Kim also worked for “Events & Conferences” at JMU for two years- helping student groups, outside organizations and academic departments plan events & meetings throughout the university. Job duties included helping groups book the appropriate space for their needs, and physically setting up the space the day of the event/meeting. Kim is a valuable member of the Event Kings team and brings her style, class and positive attitude to the company.
